School Safety Conference 2026
The Great Lakes Association for School Safety invites you to join our annual event, uniting experts and professionals committed to enhancing K-12 school safety in the Great Lakes region.

Guy Bliesner is a nationally recognized school safety leader with over 30 years of experience in education and security. Guy began his career as a high school teacher and coach before transitioning to the School Safety & Security Coordinator for Bonneville School District. He is currently the School Safety & Security Analyst assigned to Southeast Idaho Schools.
A founding member of Idahoโs Office of School Safety and Security, he has led statewide safety assessments and serves in leadership roles with several national school safety organizations. He writes and speaks nationally on school safety, standards, and best practices. Guy is also the inaugural 2025 Emily Parker National School Safety Leadership honoree.
Roundtable Discussions
