This course is a foundational certification to creating safer learning environments in K-12 schools. This program, offered during the three-day conference, equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in areas of comprehensive school safety planning such as: emergency preparedness, threat assessment, physical security, crisis response and more.  

Attendees who earn the FSS certification will gain a recognized credential to enhance their expertise in the field of school safety. The FSS certification is also a steppingstone toward the ACAP Solutions Framework for School Safety Training (FASST) School Safety Practitioner designation.
